Ian is a Co-Founder and partner of Westfuller Advisors, a SEC-registered wealth advisory and investment management firm that provides advisory, strategy, and financial services for values-aligned individuals, families, and institutions in the US and Europe seeking impact.

A specialist in evidence-driven, global wealth planning, philanthropic advisory, and strategic investment management – he works closely with people and institutions to move wealth with purpose. Ian is a believer in the promise of resources and financial systems to drive a flourishing democracy and economy. In addition to overseeing the firm’s core client advisory business, he co-leads the firm’s impact commitment to support efforts in building a just and equitable society, public purpose finance for All, and community infrastructure and assets. As a champion of social movements and a finance nerd, he is the Board Chair of Common Justice and serves as the treasurer for many, leading social justice organizations, including: Color of Change, The Workers Lab, Proteus Action League, and the Amalgamated Charitable Foundation.

He received both a B.S. in Business and Political Economy and a M.S. in Global Finance from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and New York University, Stern School of Business. He holds the Chartered Financial Consultant and the Chartered Socially Responsible Investment Counselor accreditations, and the Series 7, 66, 24 securities licenses. He lives on the Lower East Side of New York City with his partner and eleven-year-old daughter where he can often be found with a glass of red, a good book, or training for the next Ironman.
