The Workers Lab gives new ideas for and with workers a chance to succeed. They do so primarily as an investor in worker-centered ideas through their Innovation Fund and in strategic opportunities through their Design Sprints. Learnings from their investments inform leaders who make decisions that impact work and workers. The Workers Lab envisions a society where all workers are safe, healthy, secure, and empowered.
The Workers Lab will demonstrate that flexible W-2 employment with fair pay, access to benefits, protections, dignity, and opportunity for advancement is possible, all while leveraging public dollars in partnership with local public agencies, community-based organizations, and businesses.
