Workshop leverages the expertise of former federal political appointees and formulates concrete proposals that help advance executive action for worker rights. Workshop convenes appointees and advocates to share knowledge and strengthen capacity. It offers technical assistance and hosts a fellowship program for talented policy experts exiting presidential administrations.
Workshop’s “fellow cohorts” will provide concrete recommendations for worker centers, progressive community organizations and networks, underserved communities, and unions to engage more effectively in the implementation of recent federal investments through the American Rescue Plan (ARPA), the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL), the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), and the CHIPS Act.
