Jessica enjoys streamlining procedures and implementing processes to ensure the timely and efficient disbursements of grant funds to organizations, scholars, leaders, and initiatives focused on shifting the balance of power toward communities, families, and individuals excluded from shaping society and from sharing in its rewards and freedoms. Prior to MCF, Jessica managed the grants and operations system for a family foundation in Chicago. She pursued her education at Eastern Illinois University, obtaining a bachelor of arts degree, and later earned a master in science from Roosevelt University.
