Michael Flores enjoys bringing diverse groups of individuals together to gather in community with one another. He holds a bachelor's Degree in Political Science and a master of Public Administration from Seattle University.
Michael began in events working for the City of Seattle, Neighborhood Matching Fund, by assisting granting applicants and producing the program's public events and workshops. Before joining the Foundation, Michael served as the Assistant Director for Advancement Events at Seattle University, where he produced fundraising events that raised over $30M for student scholars in Washington state.
As the External Affairs Specialist at the Marguerite Casey Foundation, Michael manages the internal and external events for the Foundation. Michael looks forward to supporting the Foundation’s mission of shifting the balance of power to historically excluded communities.
